HC Deb 09 March 1933 vol 275 cc1347-8
67. Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether it is his intention to take any action and, if so, of what nature, in connection with the artificial hatching of salmon in Scottish rivers, as recommended in the recent Report of the Committee on the Artificial Propagation of Salmon?

Sir G. COLLINS

In the present circumstances of financial stringency, it has not been possible to pursue the question of carrying out the experiments suggested in the report to which my hon. and gallant Friend refers; but the matter will be reconsidered when conditions are more favourable.
