HC Deb 07 March 1933 vol 275 cc971-2
10. Mr. GUY

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will institute an inquiry into the public health service in Scotland from the health, social, administrative and financial points of view, as recommended by the Committee on Local Expenditure (Scotland)?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Mr. Skelton)

This was one of the recommendations in the report of the committee referred to. The report is at present receiving my right hon. Friend's consideration, and he is not in a position to intimate a decision on this one point.
