HC Deb 07 March 1933 vol 275 c990
36. Captain CUNNINGHAM - REID

asked the Minister of Transport if he has reached any decision on the problem of overcoming dazzle in motor car head lights; and if, in framing regulations, he will insist that anti-dazzle devices should be automatic and not driver-operated?

The MINISTER of TRANSPORT (Mr. Oliver Stanley)

The Ministry of Transport recently circulated a revised draft of regulations on this subject, and certain representations which have been received are now under consideration. I am not prepared at the moment to say precisely what form my decision will take.
