BETTERTONAt 25th January, 1932, the number of wholly unemployed persons (including casuals) on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Great Britain was 2,2.32,003. and the number temporarily stopped was 496,408. The corresponding figures at 23rd January, 1933, were 2,378,836 and 524,229, respectively.
