BETTERTONThe number of unemployed persons on the registers of the Barnsley Employment Exchange and Juvenile Employment Bureau was 8,629 at 25th January, 1932, and 9,544 at 23rd January, 1933. I have no information as to the number of unemployed persons not registered at Employment Exchanges.
