HC Deb 27 June 1933 vol 279 cc1325-6
37. Captain CUNNINGHAM-REID

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if any decision has been arrived at as to the future of the buildings at Greenwich hitherto occupied by the Royal Hospital School?

The CIVIL LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Captain Euan Wallace)

In 1927 it was announced on behalf of His Majesty's Government that the Queen's House and the adjacent buildings would be used for the National Maritime Museum on the removal of the Royal Hospital School from Greenwich. An Interdepartmental Committee is now sitting to consider the necessary arrangements.
