Captain SHAWasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that the German Government has announced its intention to default upon its contractual obligations to maintain the sterling service of interest and sinking funds on the 5½ per cent. German international loan issued in London; and whether he will request His Majesty's Ambassador in Berlin to make a protest to the German Government and ask for observance of contracts?
