Mr. LOGAN(for Mr. THORNE) asked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that the delay in issuing the necessary regulations for the administration of the Metropolitan Police (Staff Superannuation and Police Fund) Act, 1931, is causing hardship to certain retired officers; and whether he will issue the regulations forthwith, or, alternatively, sanction part payment in anticipation thereof?
