HC Deb 01 June 1933 vol 278 cc2052-3
44. Mr. HAMMERSLEY

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will insist on a reduction of the duties levied against imports from Britain by Finland as one of the terms of the proposed trade agreement with Finland?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I have no intention of entering into an agreement with Finland which does not provide for adequate reductions in the Finnish tariff on United Kingdom goods.

Mr. MARTIN

Will the right hon. Gentleman see that coke producers in this country receive some consideration in this matter?
