HC Deb 27 July 1933 vol 280 cc2754-5
13. Mr. GROVES

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish a report on the working of totalisators in foreign countries?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Sir John Gilmour)

I understand that the Royal Commission on Lotteries and Betting have already made arrangements for the publication at an early date of a summary of the replies furnished by the Dominions, India, and certain foreign Governments of their law relating to gambling and that these replies contain information as to the operation of totalisators in those countries.
