I am hopeful that a satisfactory arrangement will be arrived at and that either I or my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland will be able to make a statement at an early date.
Captain RAMSAYMay I ask whether the negotiations tend to prove that Dominion and home growers are able fully to supply this market, and, if that is the fact, will the right hon. Gentleman take steps to safeguard that market?
