I beg to move, That, in accordance with the Church of England Assembly (Powers) Act, 1919, this House do direct that the Benefices (Sequestrations) Measure, 1933, be presented to His Majesty for Royal Assent. The Measure is one that comes in the ordinary course of a supplementary Measure in respect of amendments of the present law. It has been considered by the Ecclesiastical Committee of both Houses of Parliament, and the Committee consider that it does not affect the rights, constitutional or otherwise, of any of His Majesty's subjects and are of opinion that it should proceed.
