§ Mr. EDENYes, Sir; the German Air Minister expressed to the British Air Attached in Berlin on the 15th July his desire to purchase 25 to 50 British aircraft for police purposes. His Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires in Berlin informed the German Government yesterday in reply to this communication that His Majesty's Government could not countenance the sale of British aircraft to the German Government for purposes forbidden by the Paris Air Agreement.
