HC Deb 25 July 1933 vol 280 cc2383-4
2. Lieut.-Commander AGNEW

asked the Secretary for Mines if he will make a further statement upon the proposals of the Government for implementing the recommendations regarding tin-mining contained in the Report of the Advisory Committee on the Metalliferous Mining Industry?

The SECRETARY for MINES (Mr. Ernest Brown)

The report to which my hon. Friend refers has been under consideration, but I am not in a position to make any general announcement with regard to the recommendations. The matter is not one which lends itself to treatment by way of question and answer, but I shall be pleased to discuss with my hon. Friend any specific point he wishes to raise.
