§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Hore-Belisha)My hon. Friend will, I think, agree that his question is hypothetical at the present time. My right hon. Friend will be in a better position to estimate the cost for the remainder of the year of those services for which provision has so far only been made in Estimates up to 30th June when he presents the Budget. On present indications, the cost appears likely to be in the region of from £20,000,000 to £25,000,000.
