asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the percentage increase or decrease in the consumption of tea in 1931–32 as compared with 1913–14?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I regret that I am unable to supply this information as no figures are available as to the consumption of tea in the year 1931–1932 when no duty was chargeable on tea.

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that, as a result of this agreement at Ottawa, for every miner he has put into employment he has put 10,000 miners out?
