asked the Minister of Labour if he will give the comparative figures of unemployment in the towns of Glossop and Hadfield for the last month for which figures are available, and the corresponding figure for the previous year?

Between 25th January, 1932, and 23rd January, 1933, the numbers of unemployed persons registered at the Glossop Employment Exchange decreased from 2,540 to 1,766. During the same period the numbers registered at the Hadfield Employment Exchange decreased from 1,746 to 1,344.
