asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the present occupant of the post was appointed to act as superintendent of the leper settlement in Trinidad, his age at the date of appointment, and the nature of his special qualifications in the treatment of leprosy; and whether it is proposed to make a new and permanent appointment at an early date?
