HC Deb 07 February 1933 vol 274 cc10-1
47. Mr. WHITE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he can make a statement with regard to the position of wheat imports into the United Kingdom from Canada since the customs decision announced on 21st December, 1932?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

The position in regard to the admission to preference of Canadian wheat imported into this country is fully explained in the statement published in the Press of 22nd December of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy. There has been no change in the position since that date.
