HC Deb 21 December 1933 vol 284 cc1451-2
2. Lieut.-Colonel CHARLES KERR

asked the Minister of Labour if he has any information as to how many ex-service men who are receiving war-wound and disability pensions are receiving unemployment benefit or transitional payment, and of this number how many are receiving 100 per cent. pension?

Mr. HUDSON

At 20th November, 1933, there were 36,177 ex-service men in receipt of disability pensions registered as unemployed at Employment Exchanges in Great Britain. I regret that I have no information as to the number who were receiving insurance benefit or transitional payments, or of the number who were receiving pensions in respect of total disablement.
