§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERI am still in correspondence with the Governor on the questions when, and on what conditions, No. 2 Area should be opened to prospecting. I would remind the hon. Member, however, that no question of leasing land is involved in the prospecting stage of mining operations, and I see no reason, therefore, for accepting his suggestion.
