HC Deb 19 December 1933 vol 284 cc1116-7
70. Captain CROOKSHANK

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether, on the completion of the new refreshment rooms in Kensington Gardens, it is proposed that they should be licensed?

Mr. ORMSBY-GORE

If the catering contractors wish to apply to the Sessions for the grant of a licence for the sale of alcoholic liquors, to be served with meals only, I propose to raise no objection.

Viscountess ASTOR

Will the right hon. Gentleman ask the Bishop of Kensington what he thinks, and also consult the parents of the children who use Kensington Gardens?
