Mr. SUMMERSBYasked the Minister of Health how many cases have been brought to his notice during the present year in which death certificates issued by doctors have had subsequently to be withdrawn; and whether, to avoid the possibility of premature burials, he will take steps to amend the existing law under which a doctor is not obliged to see the body of the person concerned on the day when he issues the certificate?
