HC Deb 13 December 1933 vol 284 c356
37. Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has yet received the views of the police authorities in Scotland as to the publication of a police gazette on the same lines as that issued by Scotland Yard; and what decision has been arrived at?

The SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Sir Godfrey Collins)

I have now received the views of 20 of the 48 Scottish police authorities on this matter. No further action will be taken until replies have been received from the rest of the authorities.

Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

Is it not high time that the other authorities sent their reports to the Minister?

Sir G. COLLINS

I hope to receive their reports shortly.
