§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe excess of imports over exports of merchandise in the trade of the United Kingdom during the first nine months of 1933 was £182,302,000. It is not practicable to furnish an 1468 estimate of the invisible items entering into the balance of payments for periods other than a calendar year.
