HC Deb 27 April 1933 vol 277 cc246-7
38. Mr. NEIL MACLEAN

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether any further arrangements have been made to enable the staff of the Scottish Records Office to deal efficiently and with expedition with the documents deposited there?

The SECRETARY of STATE for SCOTLAND (Sir Godfrey Collins)

Yes, Sir. In a scheme for the reorganisation of the staff of the Register House which was recently issued, provision is made for three additional posts in the Record Office. In accordance with service procedure, the scheme will be the subject of discussion with staff representatives, and as soon as conclusions are reached on the proposals, steps will be taken without delay to fill the additional posts.
