§ 50. Mr. CAPORNasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that applications for revision of the import duties on lace were made to the Import Duties Advisory Committee over 12 months ago; and whether he has received any advice from the committee with reference to such applications?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI am aware that the committee have given notice that an application on this subject was under consideration by them. Up to the present no recommendation for the modification of the existing duty has been received.
