Particulars for March are not yet available, but in the 2357 five months ended February the declared value of the imports of merchandise into the United Kingdom consigned from the Soviet Union was £8,600,000. During the same period exports to the Soviet Union of the produce and manufactures of this country were valued at £2,910,000, and exports of imported merchandise at £400,000.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say what proportion of the £8,600,000 worth of articles imported from Russia to this country were manufactured?
