HC Deb 10 April 1933 vol 276 c2157
49. Mr. BERNAYS (for Mr. GRAHAM WHITE)

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury how many copies of Proposals for Indian Constitutional Reform, Cmd. 4268, have been sold to date; and whether, in view of the importance of this document, he will consider the advisability of reducing the sale price?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Hore-Belisha)

The number of copies of Proposals for Indian Constitutional Reform, Cmd. 4268, that have been sold to date is 2,200. The sale price was fixed at 2s. under the pricing scale for Government publications. It is undesirable to vary the pricing scale in favour of particular documents whatever their importance, and I see no sufficient reason for varying it in this case.
