§ Mr. William Nicholson reported from the Chairmen's Panel; That they had appointed Mr. Cape to act as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Scottish Bills (in respect of the Solicitors (Scotland) Bill; Sir William Jenkins to act as Chairman of Standing Committee A (in respect of the Cotton Industry Bill); and Sir Ian Macpherson to act as Chairman of Standing Committee B (in respect of the Municipal Corporations Audit Bill).
