asked the Minister of Health the amounts of the general Exchequer grants paid to the local authorities of Jarrow Borough, Hebburn Urban District, and Felling-on-Tyne Urban District, in respect of the years 1932–33, and 1933–34; and the rate in the pound to which such amounts are equivalent?

No such report has reached my right hon. Friend from the Lancashire Mental Hospitals' Board. In December last he called the attention of the public assistance authority to a report made by a Commissioner of the Board of Control on this matter, and my right hon. Friend is informed that the public assistance authority are now in communication with the Lancashire Mental Hospitals' Board.
