HC Deb 24 October 1932 vol 269 cc588-9
28. Sir A. POWNALL

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department if he has any further information as to the Russo-Italian arrangements for interchange of commodities?

Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLE

Negotiations between the Italian and Soviet Governments on this matter were suspended in May last and, so far as I am aware, have not yet been resumed. The position is therefore still as outlined in the latter part of my reply to my hon. Friend's question of 3rd February last.
