HC Deb 15 November 1932 vol 270 cc922-3
19. Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take steps to ensure that all trade interests likely to be affected will be consulted before negotiating trade agreements with foreign countries?

Dr. BURGIN

I am already in close touch with trade and industry through the Federation of British Industries and the Association of British Chambers of Commerce, and I shall certainly take full advantage both now and in the future of any advice and assistance tendered by these bodies and other interests which may be concerned.
