§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister)Order and tranquillity now prevail in Cyprus, and the position there may be said to be satisfactory, except that the island is still feeling the effects of the drought which occurred last summer. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
