Captain MACDONALDasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been called to the police action taken against British sailors by the Soviet authorities for the offence of selling articles to Russian subjects, especially at Archangel; and what steps are taken to ensure that the interests of these British seamen are watched so far as possible in the Soviet courts and that the crews of British ships are warned against these methods at Russian ports?
