asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) the total number of sane poor receiving relief in the county of Lanark at 15th October, 1932, 15th September, 1932, and at 15th October, 1931; the number receiving indoor relief; and the total number of able-bodied unemployed on the same dates;

(2) the total number of sane poor receiving relief in the burghs of Airdrie, Coatbridge, Hamilton, Motherwell and Wishaw, and Rutherglen; and the parishes in the upper, middle and lower wards of Lanarkshire, separately, at 15th October, 1932, 15th September, 1932, and the numbers at 15th October, 1931, with the total number of able-bodied unemployed at each of those dates?

In answer to these two questions I propose, with the hon. Member's permission, to circulate a tabular statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
