§ Mr. SHAKESPEAREThe information would have to be specially prepared and therefore my right hon. Friend is not able to furnish my hon. and gallant Friend with it at the moment, but he may state that it is the policy of the Government to sanction loans for remunerative works, and a large number of sanctions have been given. My right hon. Friend is not at present aware of 22 any case where an application for loan has been refused for satisfactory works which were self-supporting.
