HC Deb 07 November 1932 vol 270 cc20-1
49. Mr. THORNE

asked the Minister of Health whether he has received a re- port from his inspector in connection with the disturbances at the Westminster Institution, Fulham Road; and what action he intends taking?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of HEALTH (Mr. Shakespeare)

My right hon. Friend has received a report from his general inspector. The disturbance was promptly dealt with, and no further action on my right hon. Friend's part appears to be necessary.

Mr. THORNE

Is the hon. Gentleman aware that the Labour Master admitted that, although he had been there for seven or eight days, he had not examined the whole of the departments?

Mr. SHAKESPEARE

According to my information the Master had only arrived the day before.
