§ Sir J. SIMONI have no definite confirmation of Mr. Edward's death, and such information as I have received is conflicting. If, however, the report referred to by my hon. Friend should unhappily prove to be well founded, the question of the punishment of the murderers and compensation for the dependants will be actively pursued.
