§ 29. Mr. LIDDALLasked the Minister of Health if he will state when the Committee on Local Government Officers, appointed 15th September, 1930, will present its report; and the coat of this Committee to date?
§ The MINISTER of HEALTH (Sir Hilton Young)I understand that this Committee hope to present their report early in 1933. The cost to date is £215 10s.
§ Mr. LIDDALLWill the right hon. Gentleman consider the advisability of bringing pressure to bear on this Committee to present its report prior to 1933, seeing that it has been sitting about 19 months?
§ Sir H. YOUNGTo do justice to the members of the Committee, who are very assiduous in their task, I ought to inform the hon. Member that it was temporarily interrupted for motives of economy and has only recently been resumed.
