HC Deb 11 May 1932 vol 265 cc1905-6
46. Mr. BRACKEN

asked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the succession of resignations of officials and trustees of the National Gallery, he will appoint a departmental committee to inquire into the constitution and administration of that gallery?

Mr. BRACKEN

Friend aware that one of his colleagues has resigned and that a succession of officials have resigned, and, if he sees no ground for such action, then I must say that unless—[HON. MEMBERS: "Speech."] In view of the unsatisfactory answer, I give notice that I will raise the matter on the Motion for the Adjournment on Friday.
