§ 37. Mr. HANLEYasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take steps to make the Income Tax Acts applicable to the Channel Islands?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe Channel Islands have their own Income Tax system, and it would not be practicable to make the United Kingdom Income Tax Acts applicable to them.
§ Mr. HANLEYIs my right hon. Friend satisfied that these islands have done their utmost to assist the British Isles in the financial crisis?
§ 44. Mr. LENNOX-BOYDasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the number of persons paying Income Tax in Great Britain and Northern Ireland as a result of the Finance Acts of April, 1931, and September, 1931, respectively?
