§ Sir S. HOAREI have not heard of any such proposal as regards the United Provinces. Perhaps my hon. Friends are referring to the Central Provinces where a proposal to combine temporarily the posts of Director of Public Health and the Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals is under consideration as a measure of economy.
