HC Deb 21 March 1932 vol 263 cc694-5
49. Mr. POTTER

asked the Attorney-General whether, as a result of the disclosures in a recent case in the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice, he will, in order to prevent fraud upon the public, take steps to make all persons proved to be party to the publication of fictitious markings of Stock Exchange transactions liable for a criminal offence within the scope of the Larceny Acts?

Tht SOLICITOR-GENERAL (Sir Boyd Merriman)

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given on the 16th March to the hon. Member for Gower (Mr. D. Grenfell), in reply to a similar question, to which there is nothing I can add.
