§ 48. Captain ERSKINE-BOLSTasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, in considering any future imposition of the Entertainments Duty, he will take into consideration the adoption of some means whereby the duty payable in respect of entertainments at which living artistes appear can be remitted wholly or in part with the object of encouraging employment and British stage productions?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINI have noted my hon. and gallant Friend's suggestion; but I am sure he will not expect me to anticipate my Budget Statement.
