§ Sir H. SAMUELThis proposal raises questions which require careful consideration. It is desirable that all those interested should have an opportunity to state their points of view, and to this end it is proposed to ask the House to appoint a Select Committee to consider and report upon the question of the amalgamation of small police forces with larger units of police administration.
