§ 33. Sir WILFRID SUGDENasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the amount of commercial traffic passing over the Temple Mills Bridge, Ruckholt Road, Leyton; and, in view of the resulting danger, what steps he is taking to protect the passing public?
§ Mr. PYBUSI am aware of the substantial volume of traffic using this bridge, and some time ago an improvement was effected in the lighting. Negotiations have taken place with a view to the erection of a new bridge, but, owing to the need for economy, it has been necessary to defer the scheme.
§ Sir W. SUGDENIn the meantime, will the hon. Gentleman make sure that the present bridge is made passably usable?
