§ Sir J. SIMONAccording to my information, skirmishing between the Chinese and Japanese forces has practically ceased. One Japanese division and a mixed brigade are being withdrawn to Japan. As regards local negotiations, conversations are proceeding, but there is at present nothing that I can add to the reply returned to the right hon. Gentleman, the Member for Bow and Bromley (Mr. Lansbury) on the 10th of March.
