Mr. McENTEEasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the proposed reorganisation of casual wards in Devon will compel a casual to walk 20 miles to the next ward; and whether in view of the recommendation of 15 miles by the Departmental Committee of Inquiry, he will look into the matter?
§ Mr. E. BROWNMy right hon. Friend will bear the point raised by the hon. Member in mind when considering the proposals which have been made by the Devonshire County Council for the reorganisation of their arrangements for the relief of casuals.
