§ 46. Mr. RHYS DAVIESasked the Minister of Transport if he will state the location of the new roads under construction where work has been stopped at the instance of the present Govern- 1791 ment; the length of each such road; how much has been spent on each; and how much money would be required to complete construction in each case?
§ Mr. PYBUSThe information asked for by the hon. Member is not readily available and could only be furnished at a considerable expenditure of time and labour. I hope, therefore, that the hon. Member will not press for a detailed answer. If he will let me know of any particular scheme which he has in mind I shall be happy to give him any information available.
§ Mr. DAVIESIs the hon. Gentleman aware that in my own constituency a scheme has been stopped? Can he give us a figure indicating how many schemes have been stopped—a hundred or a thousand, more or less?
